Catching atmosphere

I didn’t start photography to capture faces or landscapes.
I started to capture feeling.

Atmosphere is what connects my different areas of photography.

My photography journey started three years ago, in my thirties. Alongside my analytical job as a project lead in IT, I felt the need for a place for my creativity. After years of turbulence, and with my introverted character, I went inward. This shaped my reflective and observational way of seeing.

I have always been drawn to the sensitivity of movies, music, and visuals. Photography quickly became a way of expression. It started as self-expression and grew into expression for others, telling their stories. Over time, I had the honor of creating visuals for designers, brands, writers, artists, events, and many beautiful individuals. I never made a decision for one specific branch. I capture atmosphere.

About myself: I am 34 years old, married to my beautiful wife, and we live in the countryside in the Eindhoven region of the Netherlands. I enjoy the calm of nature and animals every day. I still work part-time as a project lead, and alongside that I take on photography projects in the Netherlands and abroad.

​

In my work, I combine my reflective and sensitive side with a professional, organized, and relaxed way of working. I don’t believe in hierarchy. I am open to ideas and collaboration. Let’s create together.
